Anika and Shivaay to have a MAJOR showdown in Ishqbaaaz!

Here’s how it transpires.

Star Plus’ Ishqbaaz is currently focussing on the pros and cons of social media usage.

We already saw how Omkara(Kunal Jaisingh), Rudra (Leenesh Mattoo) and Anika (Surbhi Chandna) are in favour of posting pictures on social media for PDA purposes (all the three have their own logics and explanations), the other trio of Bhavya (Mansi Srivastava), Gauri (Shrenu Parikh) and Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) are against it.

We also saw how Shivaay berates Anika on losing out a lucrative business deal because of the latter uploading a wrong video on social media. Later on, the couple argue again when Shivaay expresses his wish to put Sahil in an international school, where the Oberoi brothers studied while Anika opposes and asks that Sahil be admitted to a Hindi medium school like her.

However, Sahil opposes the idea and crumbling under pressure, Anika agrees to get Sahil’s admission done in an international school.

But Sahil’s dream of going to an international school will soon fall apart and both he and Shivaay will blame Anika for the same.

It will so happen that while walking, Anika will be hit by a woman’s car and the ladies will get into a huge altercation, where the lady will insult Anika for not knowing English. She will put Anika down for her middle class mentality and brash behaviour. But Anika being Anika, will not take it lying down and will give it back to the woman.

At home, Sahil will ask Anika the meaning of the word photosynthesis’ and with Anika not knowing the meaning, will get embarrassed in front of her brother, who would make fun of her. And also with the lady’s taunts running in her mind, Anika will feel emotional. But Gauri will pacify her and will ask her to go with Shivaay and Sahil for the latter’s admission.

And as fate would have it, the woman will turn out to be the principal of the school that Shivaay and Anika take Sahil to, for his admission. The lady will again insult Anika for whatever happened earlier and this will result in Sahil not securing admission at the school.

A dismayed Sahil will then get angry at Anika and Shivaay will again yell at Anika, leaving the lady heartbroken.

We wonder what will transpire ahead.
