Fans run away from home to meet Jethlal from Tarak Mehta!

It is no secret that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has a huge fan base. The show is not only a hit on the TRP charts all over the country but is also the highest rated family entertainer. While its popularity garners a lot of attention, there are bound to be crazy fan moments as well. And, the TMKOC fandom has seen a rather surprising moment recently.

Turns out that some viewers took it too far and in their hopes to meet the star of the show Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal, ran away from their homes. A report in a popular daily mentioned that two juvenile fans came all the way to Mumbai from Rajasthan to meet their favourite actor. The two are cousins who left home with a meager amount of 4,100 rupees.

The fans tried asking around Powai for the actor’s residential address and this was brought to the attention of the cops. It is told that the cops are trying to get in touch with the makers of the SAB TV show with regards to the incident.

We have heard of Bollywood and TV fans trying to make their way to the stars they admire but this case is that of an extreme measure. What do you think about this fan incident. Crazy, isn’t it?
