Read on to know what she has to say.

Colors is all set to come back with its much awaited supernatural franchise, Naagin Season 3. The show will be going on-air on the 2nd of June in the 8 pm slot, and will also be a reunion of sorts for the leads, Karishma Tanna and Pearl V Puri.

Playing a role in the Naagin franchise can often lead to being stereotyped, thereby resulting in comparisons and often, a lot of flak as well. Actresses Mouni Roy and Adaa Khan are still remembered for their roles in Naagin and Naagin 2.

We quizzed Karishma if she fears being stereotyped and typecast post her stint in the show. To this, she said, “I think it is the actor’s job to be able to play different different characters, and be able to get completely involved in it. I think even if we look at movie stars, they are playing a certain character in the film and you believe it and then they completely snap out of it moving on to a new character. So it is similarl with TV actors too.”

That is rightly put, isn’t it? That is what actors work for at the end of the day, and let us just hope Karishma successfully manages to do so.
