And, she has a reason for this decision.
Star Plus’ long-runner, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai continues to be loved and adored by several despite the major changes it went through last year.
Past year, the show witnessed the exit of three of its prime characters which includes Karan Mehra aka Naitik, Hina Khan aka Akshara and Rohan Mehra aka Naksh.
And now, according to the reports in a leading daily, yet another actress is all set to make an exit from the show, as Kanchi Singh aka Gayu has decided to quit the show.
Currently serving her notice period of three months, the actress was said to be unhappy with the way her track was shaping up to be and her character was sidelined too. Hence, after a lot of thought, she decided to quit the show and her exit track will air some time around September.
However, the actress mentioned how she is thankful and indebted to producer Rajan Shahi for this opportunity which launched her in the industry.
She also mentioned on how she is only looking forward to do lead roles now.
