PromoReview: The 10 year leap in ‘Naamkarann’ seems to be the exact change that the show needs

Naamkarann on Star Plus is all set to witness yet another leap, but this time around it isn’t just a couple of years, but a decade. Following the leap, there will be a change of characters and a change of story line as well, which the viewers shall definitely be looking forward to.
With the latest promo out now, we decided to analyse what the leap might bring for us and if it fits the story line that the makers intend to tell.
What’s it about:
The leap begins with a rather romantic setting of a homestay by the beach, and there resides Avni (Aditi Rathore) hiding and keeping herself aloof from the world, especially from Neil (Zain Imam).
While Avni looks at a frame of theirs recalling their good old days, Neil is shown passing by with his friend in a car who suggests the location as an ideal fit for a shoot.
And there, that marks the beginning of the many blink and miss instances that will follow!

What we liked:
The entire shift of the backdrop for the show is a pleasing view to the eyes, and while we know that there will come a point where the two will meet and their love story will take its own twists and turns, the build up that the promo has created seems to grab a decent amount of attention.
What we did not:
Well, given the fact that the leap will be a 10 year one, the leads are likely to undergo a change of look, but we think we have evolved enough to show time passing by in better ways than giving a pair of specs to the female and a leather jacket to the male.
Verdict:
With Star Plus’ revamp strategy in process, this leap might turn out to be what Naamkarann needs in order to gear up on the TRP front.

Total these people gone nuts.one year or two year leap is enough for the show to increase it’s trp level.ten years leap doesn’t make any sense to people who watch this show except to think whose weird thought is this.does those people belong to human world or those who doesn’t care about the time in human life.ek insaan ki Zindagi mein das Saal ki bahut important hota hai.das Saal mein ek insaan ki Zindagi badal jaati hai. I don’t think they thought of that. seeing this as a fiction, but fiction should relate to some reality.unless u don’t want ur viewers to understand u.
