Rupa Divetia bags Colors’ Thapki Pyaar Ki

Seasoned actress Rupa Divetia who was last seen in Sony PAL’s Piya Basanti Re has bagged a challenging role in Colors’ next, titled Thapki Pyaar Ki, to be produced by SOL Media and the writer duo Ved Thapar and Dheeraj Sarna.
Rupa will play the matriarch in the lead boy’s family.
As per a reliable source, “Rupa has been roped in to play the dadi of the house. Her character will be very lively, happy-go-lucky and lenient by nature.”
When contacted, Rupa who recently appeared in episodics of Shapath said, “Yes, after Piya Basanti Re, I had taken a break from daily soaps. I was busy with my theatre work. I am happy to have bagged the show Thapki Pyaar Ki. I will be shooting for it from the month end.”
